The Grounds of Alexandria is a thriving urban sanctuary in the middle of the city with markets, flowers, a fountain, a veggie garden, a café, a restaurant, an artisan bakery, lots of friendly animals including: pig Kevin Bacon, pony Turbo, goats Goldy Horn and Margoat Robbie as well as the chickens....

Behind every great Italian meal and chef is a great foodloving Nonna. This is the motto behind The Festival of Nonna organised by Sandhurst Fine Foods this month....

Recently opened (2015), Indu has proved to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney CBD. The cuisine is modern and surprising. The dining room is underground which gives a special secret atmosphere. The food is fresh and seasonal. The service is relaxed but caring and nice....

Sorry we can’t take any booking… of course, the Boathouse is always full and more than full. It is crazy busy. But this is an unavoidable price of success. The restaurant is on the beach, the view is just beach all around. The food is very good; serving up the usual modern-Australian fare with the traditional burger and beer battered fish & chips (which is actually one of the best I have eaten so far, with Doyles), they also offer fresh seafood (oysters, bucket of prawns, seafood platter), all sorts of salads and vegetarian options....

It is so hard to book at Hubert! We had to make a table of 6 and book over a month in advance… But it was definitely worth it. Hubert takes you to a very special atmosphere: an underground wood-panelled dark basement with a piano on a scene, velvet curtains, dozens of frames on the walls and thousands of liqueur bottles in the stairs…...

How hard is it to write about one of the best restaurants in the world? (Yes, Sepia has been listed in the 2015 World’s 50 Best restaurants list.) I will give it a try...For me, Sepia was not just a dinner, it was a trip, an experience. I was literally feeling like I was discovering a new piece of art with each new dish. Not only am I referring to the beauty the dishes, but also to the different textures and tastes you can have in one bite. It was just amazing....

I went to Chiswick Woollahra because many people had told me nice things about it and I haven't been disappointed. The highlight was definitely the good quality of the produce. I recommend the lamb shoulder because it was perfectly cooked and the meat was so tender... and also because it was so big that even sharing was too much and we had to ask for a doggy bag....

Jpb restaurant is an urban eatery, located in Swissotel Sydney five star hotel, right in the heart of Sydney CBD. The chef, Joshua Askew is a young talent full of creative ideas. Along with him, the pastry chef, Tracy Allesina just bakes amazing desserts. Is it because she is French or because she used to be Quay chef pastry chef? Either way, she has introduced the Gourmet Coffee in Australia, so brownie point for her!...

Alpha is a greek restaurant located on Castlereagh street, in the centre of the city. What I really like about it is the very good value for money. When I had dinner there, everything was great, from the very attentive service, to the pleasing atmosphere (you get some space between the tables, candles on the table, a nice heated terrace...). The food was good and varied ; I thought the price was very reasonable....

360 Bar and Dining is a fine dining restaurant, famous for its unique view of Sydney, but not famous enough for the quality of the food which is very good. Located in the Sydney Tower, 300 metres above Sydney CBD, the restaurant gives a 360 degrees view above the city....
